Ya' ever just wanna scream???

What a day yesterday was!!! Frustrating to say the least, but before I go any farther I have to say the brightest part of my day was watching the NCHS Chorus present the Wizard of Oz! Good job cast and crew!

Yesterday morning, I headed to Olney to the Weatherization building. The guys down there had some pretty simple requests. They needed new email addresses set up on both their towers and their laptops, they needed Weatherworks put on their laptops and ONE of them needed Lotus put on his laptop. All was going well until I tried to install Lotus. I bought a new Lotus disc about 6 months ago. It had worked fine until I was trying to install it on a computer at the new Weatherization building in Greenup, then I met with grief. I had tried everything I could think of and ended up calling MASS, who finally go the thing to install. Yesterday I ran into the exact same error. I looked it up on the internet and found a fix but it involved getting into the registry, which I normally don't do. I called my friend Mat from MASS who told me he had found the fix on the internet, he was in Shelbyville working a job and couldn't come down but the fix he found did contain getting into the registry. Brian needed the program on there asap so I rolled up my sleeves and delved into the registry. I did what I had instructions for and low and behold, it loaded!! Success!!! I was so excited.

My next feat of the day was to install a printer in Robinson. Installing printers are no brainers---most of the time. I left Robinson yesterday evening with the printer not installed. Every time you hook the printer up to the tower, it shuts down. I believe there are too many old conflicting printers still installed so I will have to do some uninstalling but I didn't have time yesterday so I have another trip planned for next week.

Last night, Robert took the jeep to go pick up some friends before the musical. The jeep fell apart at the rest area south of town. Looks like we need a new rear drive shaft; which seems to be scarce. The guys didn't worry about it until after the musical but it meant for a very late night, we hit the hay around 2 this morning, Robert had to be at school at 7, I am sure he will honestly come home and go to bed when he gets out of school this afternoon.

There are days I just have the old Hee Haw song running through my mind....If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.........

I know there are worse things in the world, but still......
